The Gifts.

I heard somewhere that if from the moment I woke up I couldn’t think of anything else to do but singing, that I was singer, that if I couldn’t think of anything else but writing that I was a writer, that if I couldn’t think of anything else but dancing that I was a dancer. What I forgot to ask was whomever said this to me was, what if I wake up wanting to do them all and much more? 

Well I guess the joke was on me, because for so long I have been trying to fit myself in one box. Either do this or do that. But that’s not how God created me. God created me with many passions and with the skill to them all gracefully. I am no longer one or the other I am Angel and Angel has many things He loves, many talents I like to share, many gifts I have to offer. No need to box myself up and be one thing or the other. I want to be all that God created me to be, when I return to heaven I want my talent and gifts bank account to be in the negative because I use more than I was given. How about you?

Who is in control?

“He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high…” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭

If we knew who holds in place our life, the stars, the planets and the sun and never doubt it that, our inner light will shine as far as the east is from the west. When we become parttakers of the truth that Jesus came to share with us, our life is enriched simply by giving the first step tours accepting Jesus precious gift of truth and light. Then and only then, we can truly live an exceedingly abundant enriched  life. Jesus came to give us healing words, words of encouragement and words of power for our life. Jesus came to remind us that we and the Father are one, and that whomever live in the Father and in His words, by definition the Father also lives in him. Jesus came to give us life.

If we become more like God, more like Jesus most of our so call problems, perhaps, even all of them will dissipate and will come to know true inner peace. In my own personal experiences, the moment I have moved away from God and try to do things my way, I immidiatly start feeling stress, tired, angry and sometimes even helpless. While feeling this way, access to finding solutions to whatever may be happening in my life is not possible, because I have moved away from God. I have moved away from God’s wisdom and from His love. Every day, I make it a point to read the scripture above and to meditate on it throughout my day, specially if something I don’t expect happens. I have learned how I feel away from God’s grace, I have seen myself out of options or without answers for wanting to do it my way or by trying to find my answers in the world. And frankly, I do not like it. I do not like who I become or how I feel away from God’s love, grace and wisdom.

God’s words has power available to us today, tomorrow and always. God’s word make His promises of health and of an exceedingly abundant life available to us forever and ever. God’s word is never changing, never forsaking us or abandoning us. God’s word is the guiding light as God is the foundation of our life. God’s word is the seed in our heart waiting for us to nurture it and allow it to grow as tall, strong and majestic as a redwood tree.

The next time you find yourself doubting, in fear or in pain remember who is with you, who is by your side. And courageously and abundantly received God’s grace and wisdom.

Be firm in your steps.

“Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.” ‭‭ Joshua‬ ‭1:7‬ ‭

Be strong in the Lord, my friend. Be strong and trusting of the path that God has line up for you, even on the days that your circumstances don’t seem to line up with what God has promised you. We seem to forget  that there is work to be done in the way to  received the promises that God has given us. Wherever we go, there will be something we must do, there will be something we must let go and there will be many things that will try to change our course and keep us from our final goal. We must be steadfast in our journey in order to enjoy our relationship with God to the fullest.

It’s  used to be very easy for me to be all pump up and courageous when things were going in a way that will show my senses that God and His promises were available to me everywhere I went and in everything I did. But if the smallest thing will go “wrong” I will immidiatly turn the other way and change directions and will fall in the trap of getting discourage and believe that God couldn’t possibly be here, since according to me, things weren’t going right. How naive of me? Flat out childish. The truth is that God promise land of milk and honey is all around us. Sometimes on the way to our promise land and even in the promise land there are things, people and situation that we must work through in order to enjoy the benefits of having a relationship with God  and enjoy our inheritance.

There will be ups and downs, laugh and tears, challenging situations and happy moments,  people we can’t stand and people we love. There will be a pale of colors that will paint our landscapes of beauty and joy. But in every moment one thing will be constant and one thing only, the presence of God within us and all around us. Reminding us to stay focus on Him and in His love for us. Do not let the joy and glory or the sadness and pain of any giving moment distract you or take your focus away from the only goal, God. Live through every moment. Ur know that even the greatest moments shall pass too.

Seeking God, should be our only goal.

“Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37:4‬ 

We all want our life to be anointed, we all want whatever we do to be blessed by God. We all want our every step to bring us into the land of milk and honey that God promised to us through His word. We all want to live the good life, a life free from stress, free from worry. As the scripture above says we must delight ourselves in our relationship with God, first and foremost. We must delight ourselves in having God in our life before we can enjoy the benefits of His kingdom. We must seek God and a deep relationship with Him before we receive any of His blessings in our life.

As they say we must seek God presence not His presents in our life and then He will give us the true desires of our heart. Only then He will have our permission, given to Him by our free will to blessed us and manifest His promises in our life every step we give. In my life having a relationship with God have become my one and only goal. I cannot tell you how many troubles have flee from my life because of this. How many blessings, spiritual and physical ones have come into my personal sky. And how many of these blessings allow me to share His grace and love with all of those around me.

I used to seek God’s blessings and the second something went down south I would blame God for my fall. When in reality all I was doing was giving God a plan or a list of things to give me and how to give them to me, instead of seeking Him for who He is and not for what He can do for me.

Ask yourself;

Am I seeking God for what He can do for me or because I love him and want a meaningful relationship with him?

Am I seeking God when I need something or every moment of every day?

Am I surrendering my life to His love for me and letting Him manifest through me and for me or am I looking to use Him to bring my plans forward?

I believe that as you ask these three questions to yourself and write down the answers you received your relationship with God will be strengthen and you will see not only what you want manifest but even things that you never dream of will come to pass. Seek God, seek Him even if He nevera give you what you want and I promise you will be blessed beyond measure.

Say YES!

“And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, The Lord is with you, you mighty man of [fearless] courage.”

‭‭Judges‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

I read this scripture and I feel God’s love pouring down over me reminding me what I am made of. I have what I call the “gift of vision” many times throughout my life I have seen angels, I have heard the messages that God sent to me through them. Every single time this happens, I am filled with awe, with reverence fear of God. I am filled with a kind of love that no words can describe. Instances like these, had happen throughout my life since I was a child. I firmly believe that God speaks to us every day, directly, sometimes through angels and sometimes through other people. The question is not whether God speak to us or not, the question is Do we have the courage to listen to God and to embrace the message? Do we have the courage to press forward once we have heard what God have to say to us?

I know in my entire being that we do. I know in my heart and soul that we posses all the courage we need not only to listen to God’s word but to move forward and act on it. As I mentioned a few days ago, God asked me to write about courage, about the courage He has blessed us with. At that very moment, I had a desicion to make. I could do what I was asked to do, courageously. Or I could let fear overpower me and run the other way. It’s has only been a few days since I started doing what I was asked to do and I already feel courage, peace and an immense love flowing through me that I have never felt before. I have also feel in the last few days the enemy trying the hardest to keep me from doing this, but I have kept on pressing forward and God grace and His angels have stand by me, keeping me safe and making the enemy flee as far as the east is from the west.

God’s power and grace is release in our life the second we start doig what is ask of us, once we start doing what we came here to do. And as we do this heavenly guidance, protection and favor is with us everywhere we go and in everything we do. I feel a shift within me that is impacting everything else I do in my everyday life. For the first time in a very long time I feel in alignment with my truth. I feel center, loved, cherish, and even though fear still there, it no longer has a hold of me. God and God’s unique and sublime love has a hold of me, of my life and of who I am.

This is the kind of power that you and I posses, simply by saying YES! to God. By saying YES! to the inner burning desire within our heart and soul.

Surrender to the truth.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?      Psalm 27:1

It’s very easy for all of us to surrender to this world, to surrender to the illusion that the mind have created for us to live in. But it takes great courage to let go of what we think it is and allow what’s truth to come in and settle in within us. It takes great courage to recognized that there’s only love in a world that constantly try to tell us otherwise. We turn on the news and we see despair, sorrow and pain everywhere. We see people killing and suffering all over the world. We see ourselves going through tribulation while forgetting that everything around us is nothing but a dream that we can wake up from and realized that we can choose again, choose love, choose peace, choose joy, choose to be aware of what’s truly real.

Have I felt pain in my life? My mind seem to think so. Have I been sick physically and emotionally? I can think of times that I have been. Have I experience loneliness, sorrow, sadness? I have memories of times like that. Have I experience love and being set free? Every part of me knows this as truth. Have I ever have the power to choose light instead darkness? Every minute of every day, every moment that goes by, who I am, the spirit of courage and truth that encompass all of me posses the wisdom to recognized this as the only reality that there is.  But when the mind gets involved I seem to forget that. I seem to walk away from the truth and get lost in another lie serve in a golden platter by the world that surrounds me.

Have I asked my myself whom shall I fear? Yes, I have. And my mind promptly have given me dozens of answers, but my spirit has simply stand in silence and shine light and love into the space or situation that created the question. Reminding me that even fear is a product of a mind searching for answers that have already been given by the spirit.

Have I asked myself of whom shall I be afraid of? More times than I care to count. More times than I should have. In a heart where God exist, where God’s perfect love reigns, fear cannot exist or have hold of any place. Have I been seduce to believe that fear has power over me? Yes, my mind has been, but my soul, my heart have never, not even once, considered it as an option. You see, what’s truth stands on its own, it needs to explanation, no intercesor, it needs nothing for it is everything that it needs to be. It only takes one choice, one moment to quiet our mind and listen to the voice of truth within ourselves. The voice that by speaking softly and gently remind us who we are, what we are made us and who is always with us, within us, around us, everywhere we go.

You will never make it.

Many times, I have heard this from people who never believe in me or my talents. But it didn’t really started to affects me, my life choices and who I was choosing to become until I started to believe that they were telling me the truth about myself. It didn’t started to affects the goals I was setting for myself until I bout into believing that I wasn’t worthy of the things I wanted to achieve or that I wasn’t  talented enough to do them. And at the same time I was not paying attention to what God was saying of me or about me.

Many of us make this same mistake way too often in our daily life. And it’s the one thing, that if we choose to stop doing will improved our life drastically. Doubts and fear will always invite themselves to the party, the question is how much time are you going to spend entertaining them and making your doubts and fears feel at home within you, while keeping you from achieving your truest potential. I believe that when God puts a dream in our heart, He also equiped us with everything we need to make this dream come true.

I also believe that often times those who wants you to believe that you are not good enough are those who feel threaten by the might and power that God have put within you. They feel threaten by the greatness that you dare to believe it’s  within you. They feel threaten by the light that you exude simply by knowing that you are loved and that you are capable of doing all things in Christ strength and consciousness.

Believe in you, trust in you, the Great I AM, live in your every physical and spiritual cell and it is inviting you each and every day to step forward, share and shine your light. And more importantly is inviting you to know that you uniquely beautiful and important to this time on earth.

Love is all around us.

Often times we spend our time looking at what’s wrong or what’s lacking in our life instead of spend our time being grateful for all the intended that God shows us how much He loved us. I wish I could say that I do not “sin” in this way, but I do, probably more than I would like to admit. I strongly believe that somewhere along the lines we learned to do that and forget how to pay attention to love or how to recognized it when is right in front of us. Like everything it takes practice and retrain ourselves to see love, trust love and to embrace it once again, as our very nature.

From the smile of a child to the cashier at the grocery store. From the stranger asking for spare change at the traffic light to the gym buddy at the gym, love is contantly sneaking into our life whether we see it and recognized it or not. Love is always blessing us, love is always embracing us, love is always pulling is forward to grow, to fall in love, to live in grace and to remember our higher and truest nature.

How can we become more aware of love in our life?

Here are three things that I do when I feel disconnected from Love:

1. I take a moment to find at least 5 things to be thankful for.

2. I remind myself of 5 things that God loves about me. (More if they come to mind, but at least five)

3. I look at myself in the mirror and say to myself what the Apostle John use to say to himself daily: “I am the disciple whom Jesus loved”

These three simple work wonders for me. When I do these I am not only reminded of how I am loved and cherish beyond measure but I am also reminded of my capacity to love others the same way.

Sharing is caring…

How many times you are about to say encouraging words to a friend or to a stranger and you stop yourself? How many times are you ready to start a journey that could lead you into all the happiness you wish to attain and you freeze and let go of the idea without hesitating? How many time are you going to denied yourself what makes you happy, joyful, what makes you feel alive?

Jesus said: I have come so you may life and have it in abundance. 

What does that leave out? Absolutely nothing! We were not created to suffer, or to lack, or to go through trials and tribulations with our head down and ashamed or afraid of looking up.  We were not created to live in guilt, to live in pain or to live a life feeling less than something or someone else. They are moments in my life, situations in which thinking loving thoughts, uplifting thoughts tours me or others have been somewhat difficult. I think we all have those moments, it’s part of being human, I supposed. But I also know of the far greater moments in which I have live my life trusting God and His word, trusting God’s love for me, knowing that God love me right now as much as He is ever going to love me and it is enough, actually it is more than enough.

I tell my boyfriend every now and then, that I am the disciple whom Jesus love. And honestly, I know that to be truth and I do my best to live my life knowing, that, this statement is true to me. But I also know that you, who is reading this simple words right now, are the disciple whom Jesus love as well. I believe that you as well as me have as much grace, power, favor and love from God flowing through you for  you and tours you every single moment of your life. God is love and love is sharing, every time you feel like hugging someone, every time you feel the need to say something, to stand for your beliefs. Every time your heart is leading you to go in a certain direction that is God asking you to share all that you have been giving by Him.

When I get to see God face to face, I want my accounts of grace, talents, gifts given to me to be in the negative balance. Because I used up, share, gave all that I was given and even more. To me that is a life well lived. To me that is a life worth speaking of, that is a legacy worth leaving behind for everyone to share and benefit from.

Because of your honesty, because you are a wonderful human being and because your faith in God has inspired me not only to allow my own faith to grow but to invite God in every aspect of my life. I am so grateful for the way our friendship has grown, I cherish our friendship and every conversation we had shared since the day we met.

What do I thank you for?

I thank you for praying for me, I thank you for being a phenomenal and caring friend. I thank you for making time for me when I come visit LA. I thank you for sharing your light with myself and with all of those around you.
