Who is in control?

“He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God’s] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high…” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:3‬ ‭

If we knew who holds in place our life, the stars, the planets and the sun and never doubt it that, our inner light will shine as far as the east is from the west. When we become parttakers of the truth that Jesus came to share with us, our life is enriched simply by giving the first step tours accepting Jesus precious gift of truth and light. Then and only then, we can truly live an exceedingly abundant enriched  life. Jesus came to give us healing words, words of encouragement and words of power for our life. Jesus came to remind us that we and the Father are one, and that whomever live in the Father and in His words, by definition the Father also lives in him. Jesus came to give us life.

If we become more like God, more like Jesus most of our so call problems, perhaps, even all of them will dissipate and will come to know true inner peace. In my own personal experiences, the moment I have moved away from God and try to do things my way, I immidiatly start feeling stress, tired, angry and sometimes even helpless. While feeling this way, access to finding solutions to whatever may be happening in my life is not possible, because I have moved away from God. I have moved away from God’s wisdom and from His love. Every day, I make it a point to read the scripture above and to meditate on it throughout my day, specially if something I don’t expect happens. I have learned how I feel away from God’s grace, I have seen myself out of options or without answers for wanting to do it my way or by trying to find my answers in the world. And frankly, I do not like it. I do not like who I become or how I feel away from God’s love, grace and wisdom.

God’s words has power available to us today, tomorrow and always. God’s word make His promises of health and of an exceedingly abundant life available to us forever and ever. God’s word is never changing, never forsaking us or abandoning us. God’s word is the guiding light as God is the foundation of our life. God’s word is the seed in our heart waiting for us to nurture it and allow it to grow as tall, strong and majestic as a redwood tree.

The next time you find yourself doubting, in fear or in pain remember who is with you, who is by your side. And courageously and abundantly received God’s grace and wisdom.

Surrender to the truth.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?      Psalm 27:1

It’s very easy for all of us to surrender to this world, to surrender to the illusion that the mind have created for us to live in. But it takes great courage to let go of what we think it is and allow what’s truth to come in and settle in within us. It takes great courage to recognized that there’s only love in a world that constantly try to tell us otherwise. We turn on the news and we see despair, sorrow and pain everywhere. We see people killing and suffering all over the world. We see ourselves going through tribulation while forgetting that everything around us is nothing but a dream that we can wake up from and realized that we can choose again, choose love, choose peace, choose joy, choose to be aware of what’s truly real.

Have I felt pain in my life? My mind seem to think so. Have I been sick physically and emotionally? I can think of times that I have been. Have I experience loneliness, sorrow, sadness? I have memories of times like that. Have I experience love and being set free? Every part of me knows this as truth. Have I ever have the power to choose light instead darkness? Every minute of every day, every moment that goes by, who I am, the spirit of courage and truth that encompass all of me posses the wisdom to recognized this as the only reality that there is.  But when the mind gets involved I seem to forget that. I seem to walk away from the truth and get lost in another lie serve in a golden platter by the world that surrounds me.

Have I asked my myself whom shall I fear? Yes, I have. And my mind promptly have given me dozens of answers, but my spirit has simply stand in silence and shine light and love into the space or situation that created the question. Reminding me that even fear is a product of a mind searching for answers that have already been given by the spirit.

Have I asked myself of whom shall I be afraid of? More times than I care to count. More times than I should have. In a heart where God exist, where God’s perfect love reigns, fear cannot exist or have hold of any place. Have I been seduce to believe that fear has power over me? Yes, my mind has been, but my soul, my heart have never, not even once, considered it as an option. You see, what’s truth stands on its own, it needs to explanation, no intercesor, it needs nothing for it is everything that it needs to be. It only takes one choice, one moment to quiet our mind and listen to the voice of truth within ourselves. The voice that by speaking softly and gently remind us who we are, what we are made us and who is always with us, within us, around us, everywhere we go.

The importance of your testimony.

God has given all of a role, a part in His story line. God has cast each an everyone of us in a unique role that no one else can play better than us. Our job is not only to play that role but to also share what we learned and the inside that we received from God and his angels. I friendly believe that God speak to us daily, that He is guiding us and giving us the grace to do what we must do day in and day out. You see, my testimony and your testimony is not merely what we see, or how we see the world or what we do or not do. Our testimony is everything we are, everything we say and every step we give forward.

Our testimony may not define who we are but it should define love, it should explain compassion and it should spell out kindness and hope. Our testimony may not save us from having life happen to us every now and then but it should declare that God is in charge of our life and that what we choose in alliance with God, what Jesus anointed and blessed in our life is to benefit ourselves and those around us. What we do, say, the way we act does not have to be perfect in other eyes or even on our own but is should looks like trust, it should look like courage,  it should look empowering and it should really, really looks, feel, breath in like truth.

Paradise, here and now.

Truly I tell you, that paradise can be experience by all of us here and now. We do not need to wait to die to get there. That to me is the message that Jesus wanted to convey to all us. Through his life and specially from the cross. We did not came here to suffer, or to feel less than. We came here to experience paradise, harmony in physical form. We spend to much time waiting to die so we can have eternal life in heaven, but the truth is that the happiness, love and paradise that we all seek is right here within our reach.

How do we get there? How do we live our own personal paradise in a world filled with pain, sadness, deceptions and broken dreams?

First, we must surrender ourselves to God’s love for us. We must embrace and accept how loved and cherish we are. We must realized that we are unique and wonderful beings. We were chosen to be here, to experience a life filled with love, joy and peace, every scriptures talks about this. Every scriptures reminds us of how loved we are and of what is our true destiny.

Second, we must have the courage to received the blessings that are being giving to us in our every day life. We must have the courage to received and share God’s grace. We must have the courage to be the city on a hill, the salt of the earth, a light shinning bright.

And third, we must acknowledge in our heart who is in control and always on our side, Jesus, our King and Saviour. Whom shall I fear? Who can rise against us if God is on our side?

I am beautiful.

How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? Matthew 7:4

One thing I accepted a long time ago, people will always have an opinion about you and about what you do or not do and will share it without you asking for it. I respect and honor that and allow everyone that crosses my path to have their own opinion and ideas. But more importantly I respect myself and do not allow myself the time or space to entertaint whatever opinion others have of me. I do have close friends with whom I share my beliefs and ideas and to whom I listen to when they share with me their ideas, feelings and when they have to say something about my actions, choices, decisions and what’s happening in my life. But those are few and have earn their place in my life.

We, all, will always have an opinion about something or someone. My motto is if is going to build up the person or situation and bring light and love share it, if is not keep it to yourself. If someone share their opinion with you with the intention of putting you down or putting down what you do, shine on, rise above continue being you and spread your wings even wider and fly as high as you can.

Today…

Today, I choose to have faith.

Today, I choose to be me.

Today, I choose to let my heart speak.

Today, I embrace the divinity in me and in others.

Today, I let go of the past, I forgive myself and others and I give myself a second chance.

Today, I say no when my spirit calls me to do so.

Today, I say yes when my spirit says I must.

Today, I let the mask fall and let the light shine through.

Today, I am me, myself and no one else.

Today, I realized that I belong to God.

Simple but to the point.

1 Corinthians 4-7 

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

After reading this verses on 1 Corinthians I would like to ask you to do an exercise that one of my pastor at church did with us today. Wherever you see the word love, switch it for your name and wherever you see “it” exchange it for he or she. I am still in awe as too how much I am learning of myself, God and life each time I say this verses with my name on it. I think these verses resume the way God created us and who He meant for us to be like. We were created in His image.

You are the salt of the world.

Today, go into the world and shine. Go into the world and give each and every situation you find yourself in your very best. Today, is the day you choose to be who you truly are and start living your life from a place of truth, love and light. Today, you realized you are God son or daughter. Today, you accept the truth of you are.

Trust God.

Challenges will always exist,  what changes is how we fazed them and choose to deal with them. We always have the choice to open up and realized that life is not a plateau we reach and then we are done. Life  is every step we take, and each step is as important as are soul calling and final destination.

God is not only interested in final results. He uses everything in our path, our fears, our shortcomings, our victories, our tears and our smiles. God uses all of it to make out of us light workers, to build within each and everyone of us  a great cathedral where he can dwell and live forever.

Remember what it said on James 1: 2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

When in doubt…

3 Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3

Scriptures like Proverbs 16:3 are found all over the bible. Scriptures that encourage us to follow our dreams and to trust that God purpose for our life is to be successful. God wants to see our dreams come true as much as we do, if not more. And not only does God wants are dream to come true, He knows that in Him and with Him we will see them come to fructition.

Whenever I see no way, no possibility I have learned to look at what God have to say about my success, specially in moments that I feel doubts and fears trying to overtake me and make me doubt my faith in God and His promises for  success in my life. If we want to be successful at anything in life, we must anchor ourselves in God, in His love for us and in His promises for us. 

This world, or any situation in it cannot compare to God’s power to deliver us from fears and doubts and to grant us victory. We were created victorious and in God, our loving and benevolent God we need to find strength, inner peace and trust that our victory is with us in His holy name.

Another scripture that always seem to bring me back to center and let go of all anxiety is Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”  If this scripture doesn’t tell us how much God loves us and that He is here for us and with us nothing will. Se need yo always remembre ti anchos ourselves in God and in His inner desires for us to be successful in all our endeavors, I promise you, that if we do this we will succeed in all our ways.
