In you I trust, Oh Lord (Day 4)

Lord,

Thank you for this morning. Thank you for being patient with me as my heart learn to trust you again. Thank you for loving me so deeply and never giving up on me. Thank you because when I am afraid of giving the next step forward you find ways to inspire me, ways to encourage me and remind me that you are with me. Thank you because my heart find peace in you, thank you because  I am who I am because of you love me.

I trust you, I trust you, I trust you.

In Jesus name,

Amen

I put God first.

I consider this a extremely bold statement to say and declare. To put God first means to me that I listen to what He says, that I am obedient and committed to do as He says even if I don’t agree with Him. To put God first, means that I recognized that His wisdom is greater than mine and that I have the courage to live my life according to His ways and not my own. On days when what God puts in my heart to do it’s easy, or something I would enjoy doing, I find it very easy to obey, and follow through, I think we all can relate to that.

But on days that my flesh is saying No way, I can’t do that, I don’t know how to, it’s going to hurt so much, if I do what you are asking me to do. As hard as it sounds, sometimes God is going to ask us to do things  that will feels impossible to do. But even in those moments if we try, if we press forward trusting God and do as He wants us to do, will find out that God will give us the grace and strength to do it. God is never going to ask you to do something and not give you the favor, grace and whatever else you need to do it. Remember God is for you.

Let me give you an example from my personal life; about two years or so I was dating someone. And I clearly heard in my heart God voice saying to me this relationship is not good for you, it’s not the relationship I have planned for you. I need you to trust me and end this relationship before both of you get hurt. Trust me when I say, I did my best to persuade God to change His mind, but He didn’t. I follow through over the phone and said to my boyfriend at the time what God had put in my heart. He understood and said to me that He doesn’t want to do anything that would hurt me or him, or God stand in between God and my relationship with Him. The following day, we met for coffee, when I looked in his eyes, I saw he was hurting because he did not wanted us to end and neither did I. I ccan hornt see why that was needed or why we couldn’t be.

So, I started to feel like I was hurting him, I let the fear of hurting my ex become stronger and louder than God’s voice. So, instead of ending the relationship like God had advice me to do, I said “will figure it out” Needless to say a few months went by and we  broke up, it was the most painful experience I had ever had with someone I so deeply care for once. We hurt each other so deeply and couldn’t turn back time. God tried to saved us from having to go through that painful moment. God warned us, it didn’t make sense to my mind or to my feelings or to my ex back then, but in the end if I would have obey God, I would have saved myself the painful months I had to go through after we broke up, I could have kept both of us from hurting.

Let me be clear, I am not saying that God punished me or my ex for not being obedient. I am saying that God saw before hand the direction our relationship was going. He knew that there were very painful moments ahead of us that could be avoided. As a loving Father, God tried to saved us from the pain by giving me guidance, but God also knew that this wa a decision I had to make, not something He could force on me. The same way that it was God choice to warned me and to give  us  the grace we needed to go through the painful experience of braking up once we did. God was for us when He took the time to warned us, God was for us even when I said “will figure it out”, and God was for us while we were healing from our break up and the sadness and pain that came to us when we didnt obey.

Detoxify your life.

The best way to detoxify your life and open your energy field to received the abundance, love, inner peace and all you desire in life is by cleaning and detoxifying your energy field and the circles you live in. They are three things that I do periodically and it help me stay focus, center and to work tours my goals smarter not harder. if you apply this three simple steps you will start seeing results almost immediately.

Here the three things you must do:

1- Eliminate relationships that are baring no fruits in your life. I see all my relationships as investments. We invest our time in them, or feelings, ourselves, our emotions. At times we are even willing to risk everything we are and do for the relationships we want to embrace and keep in our life, so why not cut loose from the relationships that no longer serve us or our purpose in life? When it comes to relationships if I invest 20% in them, I want to get 60% back or is not worth my time and effort. It simply isn’t. Take a detail inventory of your relationships today and be honest with yourself about them. Keep the ones that are feeling you with love, joy and happiness and let go of all others. It will change your life drastically when do it.

2- Let go of all grudges and forgive everyone, SPECIALLY yourself. There is nothing more toxic to your heart, soul and body that holding grudges within you tours others or even tours yourself. In order to move forward in life we must shed the weight we been carrying for so long, sometimes even without knowing we are carrying it. I invite you to ask yourself questions like Who do I need to forgive in my life? What situations am I willing to fully healed today? What am I willing to let go off in order to received the blessings that God is offering me? Asking yourself questions like these give you the opportunity to be fully honest with yourself about what you are ready to let go in order to move on with your life. It gives you the opportunity to fully open up your heart to inner peace and to fully embrace the meaning of love and joy.

3- Be willing to love and to be loved. We are all looking for love in one form or another. We all want to be embrace, accepted, taken in, care for and understood. But we hardly give ourselves and others the opportunity to do or accept the very things we are living and aiming to have. Very few people are able to see all the love thats around them and even fewer are willing to love others the way they want to be loved. The list of reasons why we run from the love we want is endless, and each reason will need at least a 100 pages blog for us to gain some sort of understanding about it. So, I am going to cut through the chase, just love and be loved. If scare you love harder, if it makes you want to run, hold on tighter to the person you love. If it confused you, you need to understand it, you just need to go with it. Again, love and allow yourself to be loved. The greatest power there is, is LOVE.

Our roles and experiences.

I don’t know about you, but in my case, sometimes, I have to experience that which I don’t want or like to get a clearer vision of what I want to experience and accomplished in life. Even though they are many experiences that you and I could possibly say “I can live without it” or “I wish things were different” deep down I dare to think that we really don’t. We possess incredible wisdom, whether we know it or not this wisdom is available to us always, and I see every moment or experience, “good or bad” as an opportunity to unlocked the wisdom within us. An opportunity to open our hearts and minds to fully become and embrace who we truly are at our core.

At times, we can be so narrow minded that we forget that we are nothing but a supporting role in a much larger and magnificent screen play. Each scene or experience we have is here to assist us in the completion of our life purpose. And at the same time our life purpose is an essential and very important part of the bigger picture which we came here to experience in a desire to explore the rainbow of life we call humanity.
